Waxing Pre Care Instructions

To ensure the best results and a smooth experience, please follow these simple steps before your waxing appointment:
Leading Up to Your Appointment: Gently exfoliate the area 24–48 hours beforehand to help lift any trapped hairs and remove dead skin.
Keep the area moisturised in the days prior - hydrated skin allows for a cleaner wax.
Avoid sunbathing, sunbeds, or tanning products for at least 48 hours before your appointment.
On the Day: Please arrive with clean, dry skin - no lotions, oils, deodorants, or makeup on the area to be waxed.
Hair should be at least ½ cm long (about the length of a grain of rice).
Please don’t shave for at least 2–3 weeks before your appointment.
Wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing to minimise irritation after your treatment.
Important: If you're using active skincare ingredients (like retinol, AHAs/BHAs) or medications like Roaccutane, please let us know in advance - waxing may not be suitable.

Waxing Aftercare Instructions

To ensure the best results and avoid irritation or ingrown hairs, please follow these aftercare guidelines:

For the first 24–48 hours after waxing:
Avoid hot showers, baths, saunas, and steam rooms.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, or sunless tanning products.
Refrain from intense exercise or activities that cause excessive sweating.
Wear loose-fitting clothing to avoid friction and irritation.
Do not touch, scratch, or pick at the waxed area.
Avoid applying perfumed products, lotions, deodorants (on waxed areas), or makeup (for facial waxing).
To prevent ingrown hairs and keep skin smooth:
Gently exfoliate the area 2–3 times per week starting 2–3 days after your wax.
Moisturise daily using a fragrance-free or soothing lotion.
Use an ingrown hair treatment or serum if you're prone to them (ask us for recommendations!).
Rebooking tip:
Regular waxing every 4–6 weeks helps reduce hair regrowth and discomfort over time.
