Salon Policies

At Classique, we want every client to enjoy a smooth, relaxing experience. These policies help us run efficiently and allow us to give you the very best service every time.

APPOINTMENTS
If you are new to Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy, we welcome you to our salon family!  Please arrive at your appointment on time (not early and not late). this is to ensure that we have enough time to go over any questions regarding your treatment. We like to talk about any medications, issues, or products you might be using that could interfere with your service.  

24 hours before your appointment we will send you text to confirm your appointment details. Please feel free to respond to the text message or call us on 021838561 to reschedule your appointment with one of our Therapists or leave us a message. 

Please also note that if you are cancelling your appointment via Google App or Facebook to ensure to contact us before the morning of your appointment as these can be missed due to a full schedule of appointments. Please ensure that if you are cancelling your appointment on the day due to life happening, you will need to call us on the primary number given. 

 

CANCELLATIONS AND NO SHOWS

At Classique, our goal is to provide quality care in a timely manner. To help us do this, we’ve implemented an appointment and cancellation policy.

Our appointment slots are in high demand, and early cancellations allow us to offer your time to someone else in need of care. This policy ensures that we can continue delivering a high standard of service for all clients.

⏰ Time is Reserved Just for You
When you book an appointment, that time is set aside exclusively for your treatment. We kindly ask that you give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

💳 Late Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will require a 50% deposit to rebook.

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a no-show, and a cancellation fee will apply.

RUNNING LATE!

We completely understand that life happens - whether it’s traffic, kids, or unexpected delays. That’s why we always recommend allowing yourself extra time to get to your appointment.

If you’re running just a few minutes late (up to 5 minutes), we’ll do our very best to still accommodate your service-  although we can’t make any promises. Just arrive safely, and we’ll do what we can.

However, if you’re running 10–15 minutes late, there’s a high chance your appointment will need to be rescheduled or shortened, especially for longer services like facials or full body waxing. Our schedule is often back-to-back, and we want to respect everyone’s time, including yours.

CHILDREN

At Classique, your safety is incredibly important to us. Due to the nature of our treatments and equipment (including hot tools, sharp instruments, and professional-grade products), we kindly ask that children not accompany you to your appointment unless they are receiving a treatment themselves.

We strive to maintain a calm, relaxing environment for all clients, and unsupervised children can not only disrupt that space but may also face serious health and safety risks.

If alternative childcare is absolutely not possible, please be aware of the following:

  • We are not responsible for supervising children.

  • Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times.

  • If you are receiving a treatment that prevents you from doing so—such as a lash service, Brazilian wax, or spray tan—you will need to reschedule, arrange alternate care, or bring another adult to supervise your child.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us keep Classique a safe and peaceful space for all.

 

Walk-Ins

Unfortunately, please note that as we are a home-based salon and do not take walk-in bookings. We recommend booking in advance via our online booking or by texting/calling us on 021 838 561.

 

Payment Options

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Cash

  • Visa, Mastercard & Debit Cards

  • Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy Gift Cards

Please note: We do not accept cheques.

 

Age Policy

Clients aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and have written parental consent to receive treatments. If you have any questions regarding age-appropriate services, please contact us directly on 021 838 561.

 

Personal Belongings

Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen personal items. We kindly ask that you leave valuables at home where possible.

 

PRODUCT RETURNS

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any products—so please choose carefully. If you’re unsure about what’s right for your skin, we’re more than happy to guide you during your appointment or via consultation.

Faulty items will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and must be reported within 7 days of purchase.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

At Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy, we offer beautifully presented physical gift cards — the perfect way to treat someone special. Please read the following conditions of use carefully before purchasing or redeeming a gift card:

  • Validity: Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before the expiry date printed on the card. We are unable to honour expired vouchers.

  • Lost or Damaged Cards: Defaced, altered, lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced, refunded or honoured.

  • Services Only: Gift cards can only be redeemed for services — they cannot be used for product purchases, weekly/monthly specials, or discounted promotions.

  • Non-Transferable: Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be shared or split between multiple clients.

  • Booking Requirements: Gift cards must be quoted at the time of booking and presented at your appointment. They are considered part of your deposit for the booking.

  • No Cash Value: Gift cards are not redeemable for cash. No change or cash refund will be given for any unused portion.

  • Partial Use: If the value of your service exceeds the value of the gift card, the balance must be paid using another payment method.

  • Redemption Restrictions:

    • Gift cards cannot be redeemed during the peak holiday period (11th December to 8th January) due to limited availability and seasonal closure.

    • However, any gift cards expiring during this period will be extended until the end of January as a goodwill gesture.

  • Late Cancellation: Appointments cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in 50% of the voucher value being forfeited.

  • Policy Updates: Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

Please notify us at the time of booking if you’ll be using a gift card and provide the voucher number to secure your appointment.

 

Packages – Terms & Conditions

At Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy, we’re proud to offer thoughtfully curated Beauty and Spa Packages, designed to deliver maximum value and indulgence in one seamless experience.

Please take note of the following guidelines when booking a package:

  • Single Booking Only
    Package appointments must be booked and used in one session. They cannot be split across multiple days or appointment times.

  • Non-Transferable
    Packages are designed for one individual only and cannot be shared or divided between multiple people.

  • Set Inclusions
    Package treatments are pre-selected and not interchangeable. If you're interested in tailoring a custom package to suit your needs, we’re happy to discuss this with you—please contact Classique Spa management.

​Online Bookings

We want your experience at Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy to be seamless from the moment you book. Please take a moment to read the following booking guidelines to help ensure everything runs smoothly:

  • You will receive two emails: the first confirms your booking request, and the second confirms your appointment. Only the second email confirms your booking has been accepted.

  • We may contact you to discuss any adjustments needed to your appointment to better fit our scheduling.

  • Prices listed online are indicative only. You’ll be charged for the actual services performed, which may vary from what you initially selected.

  • Promotional offers and discounts (e.g. refer-a-friend, seasonal deals) are not automatically applied to online bookings unless specified.

  • Appointment times may need to be slightly adjusted to align with salon schedules or therapist availability. Please ensure we have your up-to-date contact details (preferably a mobile number).

  • Guests under 16 must inform us at the time of booking, as some treatments require parental consent. If this hasn’t been arranged, we may need to cancel the appointment on arrival.

  • Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a fee.

If you can’t find your preferred time slot online, don’t worry—just give us a call and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Important: If you’re booking a first-time eyelash/eyebrow tint, lash lift, or spray tan, a skin patch test is required at least 48 hours prior. These are free and don’t require a booking. Without a test, we may not be able to carry out your treatment.

       If you are using a voucher to make your booking please state the voucher number in your booking.

 

Privacy Policy

At Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy, your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting your personal information.

When you book a treatment with us, we collect essential details such as your name, contact information, and treatment preferences. This information is used solely for the purpose of managing your appointments, sending confirmations, gathering feedback, and occasionally sharing updates, promotions, or treatment offers we think you’ll love. Your details are never shared with third parties unless legally required under New Zealand law.

We take data protection seriously and follow strict security protocols to safeguard your information. All credit card details are securely handled through our booking platform, Timely, and are not stored by us.

To provide and manage your treatments and transactions, basic information (name, contact, and purchase history) is securely stored in our cloud-based Timely salon software system.

If you choose to subscribe to our newsletter via our website, your email will be added to our marketing list. You may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

 

Pricing

Unless stated otherwise, all prices listed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.

Please note that prices are subject to change at the discretion of Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy and may vary from those quoted online. You will be charged for the services actually performed on the day of your appointment.

All credit card transactions are processed in New Zealand. Depending on your bank, you may incur an international transaction or currency conversion fee if using a card from outside New Zealand.

Before & After Photos / Social Media

Optional, but useful if you post work online:

  • With your permission, we may take before and after photos of your treatments for use on our social media platforms and website. You will never be tagged or identified without prior consent.

Consultations & Medical Conditions

  • For your safety, please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, or medications at the time of booking.

  • Some treatments may not be suitable without medical clearance.

Right to Refuse Service

  • Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy reserves the right to refuse treatment if a client is disrespectful, under the influence, or poses a risk to the safety or wellbeing of staff or other clients.

Salon Complaints Policy

At Classique Spa & Beauty Therapy, we strive to ensure every client leaves completely satisfied with their service or treatment. Our team checks in with clients before they leave the salon to confirm they are happy with the result, giving us the opportunity to address any concerns immediately.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your service, please contact salon management as soon as possible. We reserve the right to assess the treatment or service in question and, if appropriate, offer to redo or adjust the work.
