Salon Policies

At Classique, we want every client to enjoy a smooth, relaxing experience. These policies help us run efficiently and allow us to give you the very best service every time.

Appointments

If you are new to Classique Skin & Beauty, we warmly welcome you to the salon family.

Please arrive on time for your appointment so we have enough time to discuss your treatment and ensure the best results. 

You will receive a confirmation text message 24 hours before your appointment. Please contact us on 021 838 561 if you need to reschedule.

If cancelling, please contact us directly to ensure we receive your request, as these notifications can occasionally be missed during busy appointment times.If you need to cancel on the day of your appointment, please call the salon directly.

Cancellations & No Shows

At Classique Skin & Beauty, our goal is to provide high-quality care in a timely manner for all clients.

Our appointment times are in high demand, and early cancellations allow us to offer your time to another client.

​

​

Time Reserved Just for You

When you book an appointment, that time is reserved exclusively for you. We kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

​

​

Late Cancellations & No-Shows

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a 100% cancellation fee or require a 50% deposit for future bookings.

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be considered a no-show and a cancellation fee may apply.

Running Late

We understand that life happens — whether it's traffic, children, or unexpected delays.

If you are running a few minutes late (up to 5 minutes), we will do our best to accommodate your appointment, although we cannot guarantee the full service.

If you are 10–15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be shortened or rescheduled, especially for longer services such as facials or full-body waxing. Our schedule is often back-to-back and we aim to respect the time of all our clients.

Children

At Classique Skin & Beauty, safety is extremely important to us. Due to the nature of our treatments and equipment — including hot tools, sharp instruments, and professional-grade products — we kindly ask that children do not accompany you to your appointment unless they are receiving a treatment themselves.

We aim to maintain a calm and relaxing environment for all clients, and unsupervised children may disrupt this space or be exposed to potential hazards.

If childcare is not possible, please note:

We are not responsible for supervising children
Children must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult at all times
If you are receiving a treatment that prevents supervision (such as lash services or Brazilian waxing), you will need to arrange alternative care.

We appreciate your understanding in helping us maintain a safe and relaxing space for all clients.

Walk-Ins

As Classique Skin & Beauty is a home-based salon, we do not accept walk-in appointments.

All services must be booked in advance via our online booking system or by contacting us directly on 021 838 561.

Payment Options

We accept the following forms of payment:

Cash
Visa, Mastercard & Debit Cards
Classique Skin & Beauty Gift Cards

Please note that cheques are not accepted.

Age Policy

Clients aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and/or have parental consent to receive treatments.

If you have any questions regarding age-appropriate services, please contact us on 021 838 561.

Product Returns

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we do not accept returns or exchanges on any products.

If you are unsure which product is suitable for your skin, we are more than happy to guide you during your appointment or consultation.

Faulty items will be assessed case-by-case and must be reported within 7 days of purchase.

Gift Card Terms & Conditions

Classique Skin & Beauty offers beautifully presented physical gift cards — the perfect way to treat someone special.

Please review the following conditions before purchasing or redeeming a gift card.

Validity

Gift cards are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase and must be redeemed before the expiry date printed on the card.

Expired gift cards cannot be honoured.

Lost or Damaged Cards

Defaced, altered, lost, or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced, refunded, or honoured.

Services Only

Gift cards may be redeemed for services only and cannot be used for product purchases, specials, or discounted promotions.

Non-Transferable

Gift cards are non-transferable and may not be shared or divided between multiple clients.

Booking Requirements

Gift cards must be quoted at the time of booking and presented at your appointment.

They are considered part of your deposit for the booking.

No Cash Value

Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and no change will be given for unused balances.

Partial Use

If the value of your service exceeds the value of the gift card, the remaining balance must be paid using another payment method.

Holiday Restrictions

Gift cards cannot be redeemed during the peak holiday period (11 December – 8 January) due to limited availability and seasonal closure.

Any gift cards expiring during this period will be extended until the end of January.

Late Cancellation

Appointments cancelled with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in 50% of the voucher value being forfeited.

Classique Skin & Beauty reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

Packages – Terms & Conditions

Classique Skin & Beauty offers carefully curated spa packages designed to deliver exceptional value and relaxation.

Single Booking

Packages must be booked and used in one appointment session and cannot be split across multiple days.

Non-Transferable

Packages are intended for one individual only and cannot be shared.

Set Inclusions

Package treatments are pre-selected and cannot be substituted.

If you would like a customised experience, please contact us to discuss personalised treatment options.

Online Bookings

To ensure a seamless experience, please review the following booking guidelines.

You will receive two emails: one confirming your booking request and a second confirming your appointment. Only the second email confirms your booking.
We may contact you to adjust appointment times if required to fit the salon schedule.
Prices listed online are indicative only and you will be charged for services performed on the day.
Promotional offers are not automatically applied unless specified.
Appointment times may occasionally be adjusted to align with therapist availability.
If you cannot find a suitable time online, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Patch Testing

First-time lash lift, brow tint, lash tint, or spray tan clients require a patch test at least 48 hours prior to treatment.

Patch tests are free and do not require a booking. Without a patch test we may be unable to proceed with your treatment.

Vouchers

If you are booking with a voucher, please include the voucher number when making your booking.

​

​

​

Privacy Policy

Your privacy is extremely important to us.

When booking with Classique Skin & Beauty we collect essential information such as your name, contact details, and treatment preferences to manage appointments, confirmations, and occasional updates.

Your personal information is never shared with third parties unless required by New Zealand law.

Client information is securely stored through our booking system Timely, and we do not store credit card details.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in our emails.

Pricing

All prices listed on our website are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change at the discretion of Classique Skin & Beauty and you will be charged for the services performed on the day of your appointment.

Before & After Photos

With your permission, we may take before and after photos of treatments for educational or marketing purposes.

Clients will never be tagged or identified without consent.

​

Consultations & Medical Conditions

For your safety, please inform your therapist of any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or skin sensitivities before your treatment.

Certain treatments may require medical clearance.

​

​

Right to Refuse Service

Classique Skin & Beauty reserves the right to refuse treatment if a client is:

disrespectful toward staff
under the influence of drugs or alcohol
posing a risk to the safety or wellbeing of others

Complaints Policy

We aim for every client to leave completely satisfied with their service.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of your treatment, please contact salon management as soon as possible so we can review the concern and provide an appropriate resolution where possible.
