Hard gel is hypoallergenic, which means it is less likely to cause allergies than acrylic it is also a more flexible nail enhancement than acrylic so it is not as hard. Just like acrylic, gel can crack if it is flexed beyond its stretching point. However, it will generally cause less trauma when cracked than when an acrylic nail cracks. We use a Hard Builder Gel which is placed under an LED light for 60 seconds to cure. The gel is either built up onto a natural nail as an over lay to thicken the nail to prevent breakages and can also be applied over an extension so the client can get the desired length and shape they want. All our Gel Nail Treatments are applied with 1 Gel Polish colour of your choice.
